Robin Williams’ daughter, Zelda, hosted beauty company Philosophy’s Hope and Grace Initiative luncheon at Los Angeles hot spot Fig & Olive, where she urged a crowd that included Rumer Willis and Katrina Bowden to pay attention to the psychological well-being of others.

At the event, which was also promoting the #HowAreYouReally mental-health awareness campaign, Zelda said that when asking others “How are you?” it makes all the difference if one cares about the answer.

“We often respond without thinking, whether we’re fine or not, because it’s expected.”

Zelda’s dad committed suicide in 2014 after battling depression.
