Thirteen-year-old Guillermo Gael Delgado García wowed the audience Thursday night with a righteous rumba moves on Steve Harvey’s new show, "Little Big Shots."
Last June, a video of Delgado García dancing and lip-syncing to "Cuban Pete" by a poolside in Monterrey, Mexico, went viral, drawing in more than 6.6 million views on Facebook.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
"I was just asked if I wanted to be on a TV show in Los Angeles produced by Ellen DeGeneres," Delgado García told NBC Latino in a phone interview on Sunday. "I didn't get to meet Ellen, but I did get to meet Steve Harvey, who is very kind. If they invited me again, I would do it!"
Delgado García, who was making his television debut on "Little Big Shots," told NBC that he’d been bullied for being “the chubby kid that danced.” Now, he said, everyone wants to sit down with him at lunch.
