Justin Bieber is going to become a rocket man.

Virgin's billionaire boss Sir Richard Branson tweeted that the pop idol and his agent, Scooter Braun, have signed up for suborbital spaceflights.

"Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts," Branson tweeted. "Congrats, see you up there!"

The 19-year-old singer retweeted Branson's congratulations and added enthusiastically, “@richardbranson @scooterbraun @virgingalactic let's shoot a music video in SPACE!! #nextLEVEL”

Seats for a ride on Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo rocket plane cost $200,000.
