Hilary Duff files for divorce from Mike Comrie

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie are “So Yesterday.”
The singer filed for divorce on Friday citing irreconcilable differences as a reason for the split, TMZ reports.
Listing January 2013 as the date of their separation, Duff is asking for primary physical custody of their son Luca, 2, allowing the former hockey pro visitation rights.
The news comes on the heels of a Daily Mail report that came out Thursday, which claimed that Comrie was spotted at Mastro’s in Beverly Hills on Jan. 30 drinking and propositioning bar patrons and staff for sex.
“They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other’s lives,” Duff’s rep said in a statement to E! News when they broke up a year ago. “They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time.”
The couple married in August 2010.
