"My mom showed up unannounced to my house when she knows I have no interest in seeing or talking with her," Montag, 23, told People. "She tore my heart out on national television. She is just trying to create drama in my life."
"Officers arrived on the scene and advised the mother that since her daughter's an adult, she doesn't have to speak to [the mom] if she doesn't want to," Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Leffew told People. "The mother said, 'fine, no problem,' and left. There were no citations or arrests."
A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that, at about 10 a.m., a caller reported that an unidentified person was knocking on the front door of her home. Police asked the woman to leave and she complied. Because the woman complied, no report was filed and police would not give the names of those involved.
Montag and her mother, Darlene Egelhoff, were the focal point of The Hills' Season 6 premiere last month, when Montag was filmed returning home to Colorado for the first time since having 10 plastic surgeries. In a scene between mother and daughter, Egelhoff told Montag she preferred how she looked before her extensive surgeries and drove her daughter to tears.
"I made it very clear that I want nothing to do with her in my life right now," Montag told People. "I'm sick to my stomach she would even do something like this. She needs to stay away from me. I'm planning on getting a restraining order against her."
