Former UFC fighter Corey Hill's wife denies reports husband died

Corey Hill's wife says her husband is still alive despite multiple media reports that the former UFC fighter died.

Lauran Hill told TMZ Sports that her husband is "resting and still alive" after friends and other family members told media Thursday he had died of pneumonia.

"My husband is a strong fighter," she told TMZ. "Please everyone pray for him.

Lauran Hill would not comment on statements made by family members and the UFC confirming of her husband's death. She said she is praying for his full recovery.

Corey Hill made his UFC debut in 2008. It was revealed a few weeks ago that Hill was battling pneumonia and suffered a collapsed lung.
