Erika Jayne joins 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' cast

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" are getting a little Southern flavor.

Erika Jayne, a pop singer and Atlanta native, is joining the show for its upcoming sixth season, Us Weekly reports. Jayne has had eight No. 1 singles on the Billboard Club/Dance chart, including "Rollercoaster" and "Party People (Ignite the World)." Her husband is Thomas V. Girardi, a Los Angeles-based lawyer.

This isn't the only casting move "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has made during its hiatus. As previously announced, stars Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards will not be returning to the show.

Season 6 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is scheduled to premiere this fall on Bravo.
