All necessary to the plot lines, of course.

She earned international acclaim for her role as Lady Sybil Branson in "Downton Abbey," but before that, Jessica Brown Findlay was a burgeoning star baring it all in her first lead role for the movie "Albatross."

A decision, she admits, she wishes she never made.

Findlay opened up in a new interview about going topless on camera, revealing that she regrets it and would never do it again.

The former Downton Abbey star had her first leading role in the 2011 film "Albatross." The role required her to appear promiscuous and go topless. Looking back on the role, Findlay admits that she may have been too young to make such an impactful decision, and that she might do things differently if she got another chance.

“To be honest, 'Albatros's was naivete and not knowing that I could say no,” she told the Radio Times. “I had no idea what was going to happen and thought I was going to be shot from behind.”

“It’s not something I would do again," she said.

Findlay also had some other advice for aspiring actresses thinking about baring it all for a movie. “If you’re going to do a nude scene, be honest and natural,” she advised. “The idea that actresses would work out at the gym for a thousand hours beforehand… I was drinking pints and eating burgers.”

Findlay's next role is alongside Will Smith, Russell Crowe, and Colin Ferrell in "Winter’s Tale."
