Ariel Winter's mom criticized breast reduction

While Ariel Winter is flaunting her recent breast reduction, the “Modern Family” star’s estranged mother has her own opinion of the surgery.
“I don’t think anyone at that age should be cutting into their breasts,” Crystal Workman told “Inside Edition” of the 18-year-old’s procedure. “I am surprised she did it so young and that the doctor did it for her so young.”
Last June the actress revealed she had reduced her cup size from a 32F to a 34D and hasn’t been shy about showing the scars from the operation, appearing at the SAG Awards in February in a dress that displayed evidence of the plastic surgeon’s handiwork.
However, Winter’s mother – whom the star hasn’t spoken to in three and a half years – isn’t proud of her daughter’s decision to deflate.
“I’m sorry, I just think this is inappropriate,” continued Workman. “She should never be embarrassed of her scars but she shouldn’t be flaunting them.”
Winter emancipated herself from her mom in May 2015 at age 17 after courts found Workman had been emotionally abusing her.However, Workman continues to defend herself saying, “I am not a yes person, I am Ariel’s mother. I love her and Ariel did not approve of my parenting.”
A rep for the actress said, “Ariel is happy and in a good place. No further comment.”
