Alexander Skarsgard dons drag on the red carpet

Red carpets can be a real drag — maybe that’s why Alexander Skarsgard ditched his usual look and showed up to premiere of his latest movie in full drag on Monday night.

The 6-foot-4-inch blonde hunk wore a dazzling gold gown that showcased his bulging biceps and ripped back to the San Francisco premiere of “The Diary of a Teenage Girl.”

To complete his jaw-dropping look, the 38-year-old former “True Blood” star wore a serious wig with major volume. His makeup, much like his hair, was dramatic with long lashes and a bold red lip.

No detail was left behind — even his nails were painted. Skarsgard paired his daring ensemble with a tiny gold clutch and gold hoop earrings.

It’s unclear why Skarsgard went drag for the night and a request for comment from Skargard’s rep was not immediately returned.
