The Ford Mustang is new for 2015, and so far, it's rekindled its love affair with the 1964 New York World's Fair, and found itself chopped up and stuffed into the elevator shafts at the Empire State Building, all in an extravagant display of...heritage?

While we stew and wait for our turn to hook a wheel in the new 'Stang, we've been wondering what's missing from the selective memories Ford is surfacing/strip-mining from the Mustang's fifty years of history.

It turns out, the answer is a classic Eighties dance battle.

We would say this is probably the weirdest dance-themed promotion of a new car ever, but we lived through the Volt Dance era.
