Prominent Cuban dissident Guillermo Fariñas is holding back on his threat of another hunger strike -- his 134 day hunger strike earlier this year left him physically fragile -- but he calls the Cuban government incapable of honest negotiations.
"Cuba once again shows it’s a government of liars," he said during a press conference at his home in Santa Clara, Cuba.
About 11 dissidents remain in jail in Cuba. Fariñas, a psychologist, speaks about how he's leaving the case to the Ladies in White, the pro-Democratic movement in the island, rather than take up the fight on his own. Doctors have said he may not survive another hunger strike.
