ANKARA, Turkey – Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency reports that ambulances are responding to an explosion on a busy pedestrian street in Istanbul.
It was not immediately clear if there were any casualties.
The explosion comes as Turkey is on edge following two recent suicide bomb attacks in the capital, Ankara.
