Multiple attacks in different parts of Iraqi capital kill at least 10 civilians

Officials say attacks in different parts of the Iraqi capital have killed at least 10 civilians.

A police officer says a bomb went off Tuesday morning in an outdoor market in Baghdad's northern Sabi al-Bore neighborhood, killing three shoppers and wounding eight others. Another police officer said three more civilians were killed and seven wounded in a bomb explosion in the eastern suburb of Hussainiyah.

Police added that another bomb ripped through a parking lot in the northern Shaab neighborhood, killing two civilians and wounding seven others. And a drive-by shooting in the southern neighborhood of Dora killed two merchants.

Three medical officials confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to brief the media.
