A group of boys in Yemen reportedly burned their friend in a reenactment of the Islamic State murder of Jordanian pilot Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh.

As many as seven boys trapped a 10-year-old boy in a wooden cage in the northern village of Al Dahthath, before pouring fuel over him and setting him on fire, local journalist Mohammed Mouzahem told Gulf News on Wednesday.

One of the boys, standing on a chair, gave orders to the others to set the boy ablaze, the reporter added.

The boy suffered burns to one of his legs, but was saved when residents saw him crying for help while his friends watched. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
