A 17-year-old Guam student is accused of taking a firearm onto school property.

Pacific Daily News (http://is.gd/SFYDlF) reports the St. Paul Christian School student was taken into custody Wednesday after the firearm was confiscated from the teenager.

Guam police spokesman A.J. Balajadia says the student was taken into custody on suspicion of offenses that include possessing a firearm without a firearms ID card and possessing a firearm in a school zone.

Balajadia says the student did not make any threats and no one was injured.

The teenager has been released to his parents.
