Brazil hunts for Mexican who fell from cruise ship of World Cup soccer fans

MEXICO CITY – Mexican officials say the Brazilian navy is searching for a man who fell from a cruise ship carrying Mexican World Cup soccer fans.

The country's ambassador to Brazil confirms that the man is missing from the MSC Divina. Ambassador Beatriz Paredes told the Televisa network Thursday that Brazil's navy is searching for the man, whose name was not released.

The ship's owner issued a statement saying the vessel was sailing between the cities of Fortaleza and Recife when the incident occurred.
