A series of bombings minutes apart targeting markets across Baghdad killed at least 15 people and wounded dozens of others on Tuesday, security and medical officials said.

The blasts, all car bombs in both Sunni and Shiite areas of the capital, struck at around 6:00 pm (1500 GMT), according to an interior ministry official and medical sources.
