Three British Muslims, including a convert who was featured in a documentary about radical Islam, have pleaded guilty to terrorism charges in London.

Richard Dart, 29, Imran Mahmood, 21, and Jahangir Alom, 26, were arrested last July and accused of traveling to Pakistan between 2010 and 2012 with the intention of committing terrorist acts or helping others commit such acts.

Dart appeared in a BBC documentary that chronicled the efforts of his filmmaker stepbrother to understand why Dart had embraced an uncompromising form of Islam.

Alom, a former police support officer, appeared in a YouTube video expounding hardline beliefs.

The men appeared before a London judge by video-link Friday and pleaded guilty.
