The self-proclaimed "world's sexiest DJ" may also now take on the additional title of world's sexiest immigrant smuggler.

A former Playboy magazine playmate is facing federal charges that she tried to smuggle her Canadian boyfriend across the border – in a Bentley.

If convicted, the former centerfold for Playboy's 50th anniversary edition in 2004, faces as many as three and a half years in federal prison, as reported in the Syracuse Post-Standard.

Authorities say Colleen Shannon, 34, was an accomplice in a plot to sneak her Canadian boyfriend Robert Skojo across the border last year into the United States by boat across the Akwesasne Indian Reservation.

Skojo, who has a criminal record – drugs and prostitution – in Canada, would have been prevented from entering the U.S. legally.

Shannon and her boyfriend, Robert Skojo, were arrested in August in Fort Covington, N.Y., after federal agents said he entered the U.S. illegally, according to court papers obtained by The Post-Standard detail the case against Shannon.

U.S. Border Patrol agents stopped Shannon in Skojo's 2005 Bentley and they declared bringing in $9,800 in cash to U.S. agents at the port of entry. She told them it was money she had made from her job as a DJ and that she was headed to New York City to see her agent.

Suspicious of her story, agents watched her drive to a nearby hotel where she met Skojo. Both were arrested the next morning, according to court documents obtained by the newspaper.

The blonde bombshell said she was simply picking up her boyfriend.

Skojo was sentenced in November to six months in jail for illegally entering the U.S. and faces deportation.
