A 9-year-old girl in Pakistan is in critical condition after she was kidnapped and raped by three men, according to a police report.
The girl was snatched by three women and a man on Wednesday in front of her home in Rahim Yar Khan, the Express Tribune reports. She was later raped by three men and beaten up before being abandoned in front of the home, the police report said.
The girl’s mother said when she was taking her daughter to the police station to report the crime, one of the kidnappers threatened to kill her.
Doctors at the Sheikh Zayed Hospital, where the girl is being treated, said she was suffering from a loss of blood and internal injuries, the Express Tribune reports.
Police are searching for at least seven suspects in the case.
