Overcome by exhaustion, Cambodian strongman Hun Sen was driven to tears after hosting a Southeast Asian summit attended by world leaders including President Barack Obama.

Before a large crowd of journalists, Hun Sen said Tuesday that he was proud of his small nation's hosting of the annual summit of the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations, which was also joined by eight other world leaders.

Hun Sen teared up as he read a final summary of the meetings. He suggested he was overcome by exhaustion and grief, as well as pride over having hosted the summit.

He told journalists he was sorry he couldn't hold back his tears and was too tired to answer questions.
