Published January 08, 2015

Associated Press

The NYPD is looking for a suspect who assaulted a police officer in Upper Manhattan.

Police say it happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday at The Clinton Houses at East 104th Street.

They say the officer and her partner were patrolling the area when they came upon four people smoking marijuana.

Police say one of the men pushed the officer, causing her to fall against some concrete steps.

All four then fled.

Police say the officer suffered several broken teeth.
