4 people found dead in home on Florida Gulf coast

Authorities are investigating the deaths of four people found in a home on Florida's Gulf coast.

Officials in Tarpon Springs say an alarm call was received at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday. Police arrived at the home and found the four dead people.

Investigators from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and the State Attorney's Office are assisting Tarpon Springs Police. Officials from the medical examiner's office were also at the scene early Tuesday morning.

No further details were immediately available.

Tarpon Springs is north of St. Petersburg.
