Superintendent disputes cafeteria worker's 'shaming' claims

A Pennsylvania school superintendent disputes the account of a cafeteria worker who says she quit over what she considers a "lunch shaming" policy.

Stacy Koltiska says she had to take a hot lunch away from a Wylandville Elementary school student because his parents were more than $25 behind on his meal account.

But Superintendent Michael Daniels says the boy was mistakenly given a cold lunch before a cashier realized the account was current and he was given a hot lunch.

Daniels says the policy was enacted after more than 300 parents owed tens of thousands of dollars. But he says it's not meant to embarrass students, and didn't in this instance.

Koltiska insists she was made to take away the boy's hot lunch and replace it with a cold sandwich.
