A Georgia man had to deliver his own baby in the parking lot of a gas station when his wife went into labor on the way to the hospital.
MyFoxAtlanta.com reports that Brandon Favia was driving his wife, Christy, to a nearby hospital, when their baby decided to come early.
Just two miles into the drive, the couple called 911 and the operator told them to pull into a nearby Shell gas station and wait for paramedics to arrive.
When his wife began to give birth in the car, Brandon Favia followed the instructions given by the operator, who walked him through the delivery, according to the report.
An ambulance finally pulled up to the gas station seconds after the baby was born. The couple jokes that family members have nicknamed their newborn daughter 'Shell.'
