Police in New Hampshire are investigating a report of a pill discovered inside a child's Halloween candy, MyFoxBoston reports.
Parents say their 6-year-old daughter was given a piece of candy that looked like a Hershey's Kiss that contained a white pill while trick or treating on Wednesday. The child's parents immediately called police.
Investigators believe the pill may be a dietary supplement, but are waiting on confirmation from lab tests, MyFoxBoston reports.
Authorities are reminding parents to scan all candy before their kids eat it and are reminded to call police to report any suspicious candy.
