Oyster is visiting the best, trendiest hotel bars to find you the tastiest cocktails in NYC. Not only have we got the photos, we’ve got the recipes — directly from the bartenders — so you can make them at home. Grab your martini glass, you’re having a cocktail party.
This week, we’ve got 60 Thompson. Previously, we’ve bar hopped at: The Grand Hyatt, New YorkXVI at Hilton Garden Inn Times Square, The Maritime, The James Hotel, Hilton New York Fashion District, and The Standard Hotel.
Ingredients:
To make
Combine 1 teaspoon of raw sugar, 6 mint leaves, 4 kumquats and muddle well in a mixing glass. Add 2oz of anejo tequila, .5 oz orange juice, .5 oz lime mix, add ice and shake well. Pour into a wine glass or tumbler. Splash of club soda.

Combine 2.5 oz of white tequila, 1 oz lime juice, 1 oz triple sec and 1 oz of passion fruit puree in a mixing glass. Shake well. Pour with a strainer over fresh ice. Serve in a wine glass or tumbler.

Combine 2 tablespoons of chopped lime, 2 teaspoons of sugar in the raw, 8 mint leaves in a mixing glass and muddle. Then add 2oz. of Pyrat rum and 2oz of fresh lime juice. Shake well. Serve in a highball with a splash of club soda.

Combine 2 oz. of Absolut mango, 2.5 oz mango puree, squeeze 1/2 lime, add ice, shake well. Strain into a martini glass and serve.

Combine 1 tablespoon of raw sugar, 1 tablespoon of chopped limes and muddle well. Add 2oz of premium vodka, 3oz lychee puree and 1 oz of lemongrass puree. Add ice and shake well. Pour into a highball glass.
