You'd think that a Caribbean cruise would be about getting away from the cold.

Norwegian Cruise Line just announced plans for a massive Arctic-themed spa, complete with a Snow Room with falling snow, aboard its Norwegian Escape set to debut in November.

The Snow Room, part of a Mandara Spa spanning two decks, is kept at between 21 to 32 degrees Fahrenheit.  Billed a way to stimulate blood circulation, the room will feature snow flurries throughout the day and give passengers a respite from the heat.

News about the new chill out room comes as much of the U.S. is being blasted by snowy winter weather.

But the ship will have plenty of places to warm up. Its Thermal Suite will offer 17 heated loungers, a hydro-therapy pool, whirlpools, steam room, dry sauna, sanarium and salt room. In addition, a full service salon will offer a wide-array of hair, nails, waxing and kid-friendly services, along with acupuncture, teeth whitening and cosmetic medical treatments such as Botox injections. There also will be a separate Barber Shop for men.

Last month, Norwegian announced that the ship will have the largest waterpark at sea and a TMNT themed mini golf course.

With a capacity to hold 4.200 passengers, the Norwegian Escape will be NCL’s largest cruise ship and will sail week long cruises to the Eastern Caribbean out of Miami, Florida.
