Reach for the Skyboxes

President Obama's re-election campaign is reportedly considering moving the final day of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina to Bank of America Stadium in hopes of selling more luxury skyboxes to wealthy donors.

Bloomberg cited three Democrats involved in fundraising who say planners are struggling to meet their $37 million goal.

However, the DNC says it plans to hold the convention at Time Warner Cable Arena adding any decisions are -- quote -- "...driven by engaging more people in the process, not by money."

At least one political analyst says the move could come at a price for President Obama.

Quote -- "The stigma that is attached to Bank of America and the issues of the economy really are going to step on any kind of message that he wants to get out."

Michelle Malkin's conservative site joked -- quote -- "Better run it by Occupy Wall Street first."

Occupy Third Grade

Earlier this month, we told you that a Virginia elementary school defended a song performed by a group of third graders promoting the Occupy Wall Street movement.

At the time school officials insisted the lyrics including "I'm part of the 99" and "they're the one percent" were written by the children.

This week, the leader of the non-profit group that facilitated the workshops admitted to inserting those phrases into the song himself and promised it will not happen again.

Finally, Sunday I asked Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum about his now signature look.

In fact, his campaign says it has made $100,000 off the vests, which it is selling online for $100 apiece.
