And now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine...
Name Recognition
Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain is getting more attention and not just here at home.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai told visiting Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, he had seen a news clip in which Cain said he did not know the world leaders of what he termed the "beki-beki-beki-stan" countries, which led to this exchange.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
HILLARY CLINTON, U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE : One of the Republican candidates, I think it was Herman Cain.
PRESIDENT HAMID KARZAI, AFGHANISTAN: Herman Cain --
CLINTON: -- a former pizza company executive.
KARZAI: Is he that?
CLINTON: Yes, oh yes, he started something called Godfather's pizza.
KARZAI: Yes, I see, I see.
CLINTON: But he -- the president was saying he saw this news clip about how Mr. Cain had said, ‘I don't even know the names of all these presidents of all these countries, you know, like, whatever-stans --
(CROSSTALK)
KARZAI: That wasn't right, but anyway, that's how politics are.

Out of Bounds?
The pro basketball lockout is not only threatening the season.
It's also apparently fraying some nerves.
HBO sports commentator Bryant Gumbel has likened National Basketball Association (NBA) Commissioner David Stern to -- quote -- "Some kind of modern plantation overseer treating NBA men as if they were his boys."
It's worth noting, NBA players are the highest paid in professional team sports, with average salaries of almost $5 million.
Capital Idea
Finally, actor and liberal Alec Baldwin visited Occupy Wall Street Wednesday, offering his support and advice.
But, there was one problem.
(SHOW VIDEO CLIP)
Some are calling Baldwin a hypocrite for being the face of Capital One, America's 7th largest bank.
Baldwin says, he donates all his money from the ads to charity. But that didn't satisfy some of the protestors, who called Baldwin a limousine liberal.
