SEAN HANNITY, HOST: Despite a great repudiation of 2010, Democrats have elected Nancy Pelosi as House minority leader.
And tonight I'd like to congratulate the outgoing speaker for somehow for hanging on to her leadership post. And I want to be the first to say, Nancy, welcome back.
Now since taking over in 2007 you have provided this program with mountains of material. And tonight well, we thought we'd take a look at some of your greatest hits. And we begin with one of your most outrageous comments.

REP. NANCY PELOSI, D-CALIF., SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE: It's going to be very, very exciting. But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.

HANNITY: Well, Madame Speaker, now that we know what's in the bill, well, you'll consider, well, taking back this comment.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Do you think there's legitimate grassroots opposition that's going on or is this just an Astroturf type of --
PELOSI: I think they're Astroturf. You be the judge. Carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on health care.

HANNITY: Now not only did Speaker Pelosi falsely accused town hall attendees of carrying swastikas, she also wrote an op-ed claiming their behavior is un-American, saying, quote, "drowning out opposing views is simply un-American."
And that's a familiar theme with Nancy Pelosi. Now remember then she said this about states who actually crack down on illegal immigrants.

PELOSI: What value system is that? I think it's un-American. I think it's un-American.

HANNITY: Now in spite of all this, I can proudly say that I wouldn't want anyone else in the world to be the Democrats' leader in the new Congress. And I mean it.
Nancy Pelosi, welcome back.
Joining me now, the author of "Eighteen Acres." By the way, in full light of what we've just discussed in the last segment, because it's got, you know, incredible sex scenes in it --
NICOLLE WALLACE, FORMER WHITE HOUSE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR: Oh god.

HANNITY: Former White House communications director Nicolle Wallace, and from the Fox Business Network, Sandra Smith.
Well, it's a shock --
WALLACE: Someone is in a glass house tonight, certainly, Sean.
HANNITY: What is that -- well, your book has the first female president whose husband is having an affair with a reporter. I would have thought I would fit in perfectly in the last --
WALLACE: There are words uttered in your show tonight that do not appear in the pages of "Eighteen Acres."
HANNITY: They're worse?
(LAUGHTER)
WALLACE: No. You have to read it to find out what they are.
HANNITY: All right. I couldn't be -- I'm serious.
Nancy Pelosi, welcome back, I couldn't be happier.
(LAUGHTER)
SANDRA SMITH, FOX BUSINESS NETWORK: Yes. I mean this is great news for the GOP. At the end of the day I mean she and her party received an F on November 2nd. They are now showing that they're willing to put the exact same leadership back into power, which just shows, Sean, that we're going to continue to see the infighting.
We're going to continue to see the disagreement and the finger-pointing within their own party. This is just saying again that they're not willing to change and adapt to what people want.
HANNITY: Well, that's the thing. They even said in this article in the Washington Post, they don't want to pivot. They still believe that they are right in the White House. So does that indicate that they're that tone-deaf?
WALLACE: Well, look, the -- we're all happy for Nancy, Fancy Nancy is back. The far left of the Democratic Party loves her. They are thrilled. I'm sure Michael Moore is far more satisfied with Nancy Pelosi than he is with his president right now.
The person that should be weeping in his martini tonight is Barack Obama. It is not good for the White House to have her over -- you know wielding her power and I think highlighting the areas where the extreme left is agitated with the White House.
I think that what the White House really could have done and didn't have the political courage to do would have been to get behind more centrist Democrats. And that would have been scary.
HANNITY: There are none left.
WALLACE: Well --
HANNITY: Who?
WALLACE: One. Wasn't there one that ran against her?
HANNITY: All right, yes.
WALLACE: And that was --
HANNITY: Shuler. All right.
WALLACE: Right. So --
HANNITY: You got Shuler. You got Jason Altmire. You got like four Democrats.
WALLACE: I think it would have been alarming to me if we'd seen them actually take notice to what happened. It's -- as a Republican it's reassuring.
HANNITY: Here's the point. Six percent of independents now support Nancy Pelosi. She is a rigid ideologue like the president. Harry Reid is not backing off at earmarks even though Mitch McConnell took, I think, a very courageous political decisions and said, you know what? I'm listening to the American people. And I support the moratorium on earmarks.
SMITH: And the most recent polls of the "Wall Street Journal" showed that only 23 percent of voters actually approved of the job that she did while she was in her position.
But, Sean, at the end of the day, what did she do before this vote? And what did she do after? What were her words? Before she was talking about, well, I'm pinning this on the Republican's fight against me and all the money they threw on combating me, and on high unemployment. This is tough to run in the face of that.
Now that she's been elected, now she's saying well, it's all because of the Wall Street reform. Now it's because of health care. Now she is going to go right back to the same thing --
HANNITY: All right.
SMITH: -- that everybody hated about what she did.
HANNITY: Well, that's the question. So we've got this lame duck session now and the question is, the Bush tax cuts are going to expire in January or January 1. Do they stay with this class warfare battle that they've been pushing or --
WALLACE: Look, we -- the Democrats have run national campaigns on class warfare, on --
HANNITY: Didn't work this time.
WALLACE: And they didn't work. You know they -- it failed in every corner of the United States. So if this is what the White House and their axis of out-of-the-mainstream policies, if this is what they want to run, they're going to set Republicans up in a much stronger position for 2012.
SMITH: Absolutely. I mean at the end -- that's what -- that's the feeling that we all get today. And we go back to the very first quote that we heard from Nancy Pelosi. Nobody is ever going to forget that as long as she's in power. Everybody is going to remember Nancy Pelosi telling us all we've got to pass health care so we know what's in it. That's going to be the ringing bell as long as she's in power. And that's going to continue to hurt Obama and everything he tries to do while he's still there.
HANNITY: All right, guys, it's good to see you tonight. Appreciate it. By the way, so it's 18 acres so you have the first female president and her husband, the first dude is having an affair with a reporter.
WALLACE: That's right, the first ever first dude.
HANNITY: And you have the right to criticize me because of what a guest said on my program?
WALLACE: Well, I think he brought it below the belt tonight.
HANNITY: Have you read your own book?
