BILL O'REILLY, HOST: In the "At Your Beck and Call" segment tonight: The G-man has been investigating radical-left guy George Soros, who funds a number of organizations designed to change the country in ways Beck does not like.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
O'REILLY: So you're picking on poor George Soros all this week. Come on.
GLENN BECK, FOX NEWS ANCHOR: I know. He's such a kindly, grandfatherly sort of man, isn't he?
O'REILLY: You're really working the guy over. Three hours on him. What is -- what is the headline for somebody who didn't see the program?
BECK: The headline is is that what you're seeing happen and what is coming, between the inflation in the grocery stores and the gas pumps, the organizations out in the streets, it's a puppet show. It is -- it is orchestrated by George Soros.
There are five things. He's collapsed four different regimes, four different countries before and, of course, he's collapsed currencies. He's considered an economic war criminal in some parts of the country.
O'REILLY: All right. Let's take -- let's take the pricing first. So your theory is that the rise in gas prices and the rise in food commodity prices is directly attributable to Mr. Soros.
BECK: Mr. Soros is -- along with allies, and he's created a shadow government which we outlined and, really, in his own words, the shadow party is something that he did, shadow party conventions back in 2000. And so he and his allies believe that there should be a new world order. This is an organization that George Soros has been putting together for years, in his own words. In his own words.
O'REILLY: He's got the Open Society organization.
BECK: Right.
O'REILLY: And he's got all this other business that he finances…
BECK: Five hundred million dollars to some of the most radical leftist organizations.
O'REILLY: There's no doubt.
BECK: The guy who runs that "philanthropy"...
O'REILLY: Right.
BECK: ...for him and picks everybody was the creator of SDS. The creator of the...
O'REILLY: Look, you don't have to convince me or anybody else watching...
BECK: ...the radicals of the '60s.
O'REILLY: ...that Soros wants a far-left country and will do what he has to do to financially get it.
BECK: Here's what he's done in the past. Control the airwaves. Who's financing the -- the big push to get you off the air, to get me off the air?
O'REILLY: He is. Media Matters.
BECK: He is. Control the airways. Who's funding NPR another hundred journalists?
O'REILLY: He is.
BECK: He is. Who's helping fund the investigative arm of the Huffington Post? He is.
O'REILLY: OK, but I don't see him as the power that you see him. I think he's trying. I think he's trying. The shadow government I don't know where they live. If you tell me where they live, I'll go to their house. Do they have a house? Remember when you found -- wait, I've got to give you…
BECK: Over 400 organizations.
O'REILLY: I'll give you a compliment. You found out there was a place in New Orleans where all this ACORN money was going.
BECK: Yes.
O'REILLY: And then we went down there. Remember, we sent guys down there. It was a funeral home, a boarded-up funeral home where all this money went.
BECK: Yes.
O'REILLY: And then two guys took the money and did whatever they wanted with the money.
BECK: Right. This stuff is all out in the open. This isn't a star chamber. This is out in the open. The shadow party convention was on C-Span.
O'REILLY: They were?
BECK: Yes. Nobody pays attention to it. Hosted by Arianna Huffington, surprise, surprise.
O'REILLY: All right. So you say to all these people -- I don't think they have as much power as you think they have, but I could be wrong. Now Soros actually got in touch with you, right?
BECK: Yes. Soros, not Soros himself. Soros' No. 2 guy got in touch with my No. 2 guy and asked for…
O'REILLY: Is that the little midget? Dr. Evil?
BECK: I think he did bring a cat.
BECK: But yes, they had a meeting in a restaurant in a public place.
O'REILLY: Who's paying?
BECK: I hope the billionaire is. I mean, he's devaluing my money.
O'REILLY: Why don't you set that meeting up, and you and I will just go.
BECK: We already had the meeting.
O'REILLY: Oh, they had it.
BECK: Basically, it already went a little something like this. I don't think you hear me. You're hurting Mr. Soros and Mr. Soros' interests.
O'REILLY: That's pretty ominous.
BECK: Yes. And then he gave a little gift. We invited Mr. Soros onto the program and that was declined. And it was about three weeks before they started a campaign with a million dollars of Soros' money and then NPR and everything else. It was almost like they were asking us to reconsider exposing him.
O'REILLY: But why would you reconsider? I mean, you know, Dr. Evil and you're going after him.
BECK: Because he's Dr. Evil.
O'REILLY: OK. But was your No. 2 guy scared? I mean, did he...
BECK: He was -- no, I don't think he was scared. I think when you are asked for a meeting with George Soros' people and you know that it's not going to go well. It's not going to be like, "We love you guys."
O'REILLY: You should have told me, and you could have gone. You know, just come out. Hi, what a coincidence. We're here.
BECK: You going to go, like, dressed as a waitress? Would you like some more coffee?
O'REILLY: Wouldn't you like to meet with Soros' No. 2 guy?
BECK: I'm actually not your waitress. I'm Bill O'Reilly. No.
O'REILLY: See you could get away with that. I couldn't. You look -- you know, dressed like a girl.
BECK: Dressed as Alice from the diner.
O'REILLY: Now, final question.
BECK: Yes.
O'REILLY: All of the Soros stuff that you're doing this week.
BECK: Yes.
O'REILLY: Is it going to lead anywhere?
BECK: I think the exposure on him does a great deal of damage. Once people understand, like you've been exposing with NPR, with Juan Williams. Once people understand, it's NPR and they're getting money from George Soros. And this is all just -- it's over. Then you're not afraid anymore. You don't see the riots in the streets like they are doing over in England this week. You don't see that as anything other than an orchestrated movement.
O'REILLY: OK. So you're just exposing what you believe the man is up to?
BECK: No, what he is up to.
O'REILLY: OK, in the shadows.
BECK: Yes. I am building a death star, and it is fully operational.
O'REILLY: Glenn Beck, everybody. We're calling the authorities.
