BARACK OBAMA, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: A few nights ago I was up tossing and turning, trying to figure out exactly what to say. Finally, when I couldn't get back to sleep, I rolled over and asked Brian Williams what he thought.
"Inside the Obama White House" is my favorite new show. There's just something really compelling about the main character.
It's — another difficult challenge is how to help our automakers thrive in the 21st century. We tried a number of different approaches, and tonight I'm announcing a new one. O'REILLY: Well, with the track record of FOX News, Roger Ailes would turn AIG around very quickly. So there.

MEGHAN MCCAIN, DAUGHTER OF JOHN MCCAIN: The Obama administration really has to stop completely blaming everything on its predecessor. Completely. And I'm really — I'm sick of hearing we were handed this, we were handed this. I know, everyone knows. But we need to move on.
BILL MAHER, HOST, HBO'S "REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER": You think that's what Obama is doing?
MCCAIN: I do to a degree.
PAUL BEGALA, DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST: Not to enough of a degree. I'm sorry. Not nearly enough. Ronald Reagan blamed Jimmy Carter every day for eight years. In the speech — in the speech, what President Bush said one of the things he's had to adjust to…
MCCAIN: I wasn't born yet, so I don't know.
BEGALA: I wasn't born during the French Revolution, but I know about it.
MAHER: He's a mean man, Paul Begala.
MCCAIN: You clearly know everything. So — and I'm just a blonde sitting here.

O'REILLY: By the way, we are still waiting for Miss McCain to come on "The Factor." We like her spunk.
"Check" three: Editor of The New York Times Bill Keller says his paper is being tough on Barack Obama.

BILL KELLER, EDITOR, NEW YORK TIMES: Here is a new president who has promulgated one huge ambitious program after another. So, of course, he gets a lot of big page one headlines. But I don't think, at least up until now, that it's been un-skeptical or uncritical.

O'REILLY: But some, including me, your humble correspondent, are skeptical of Mr. Keller, a committed left-wing guy.
That leads us to "Check" 4: A New York Times/CBS poll says most Americans are willing to pay higher taxes so that all Americans can have government-subsidized health care. However, the same poll asks who did you vote for the last time around? Forty-eight percent said Obama; 28 — 25 percent — 25 percent said McCain. Uh-oh. So obviously, The New York Times health care poll was based on a huge pro-Obama crowd, was it not? Paging Bill Keller.
"Check" five: A reporter named Aaron Tru interviewed a martial arts lady named Cyborg Santos.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: If you get Gina into a chokehold, how long is it going to take you to put her in a sling?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Three seconds.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It takes about three seconds? Well, to the normal person.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: One, two, three. Oh my God, he's out. He's out.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Good, good, good, good. Wait, what happened?

O'REILLY: Where are they, Lithuania? Now, that may have been faked, but I'm not going to volunteer to find out. Cyborg can go her own way.
"Check" six: Tonight we begin a new "Check" feature called "Stupid Press Tricks," with apologies to David Letterman.
Salt Lake City Tribune, a liberal paper in the middle of a conservative state, printed a piece of propaganda from the far-left Media Matters outfit that said I am cruel for "repeatedly quacking that the legalization of gay marriage could lead to folks marrying ducks." Of course, that was a satirical jest but not portrayed as such in the Salt Lake City Tribune, a beacon of honesty. Sorry, another satirical jest.
