GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, HOST: Larry the Cable Guy is back, back on the big screen. His new movie, "Delta Farce," is being called a cross between "The Three Stooges" and "Stripes." "Delta Farce" opens nationwide on Friday, but tonight, Larry the Cable Guy joins us from New York; Larry, it's nice to see you.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: Greta, it's always good to see you. You look so nice. I want to tell you what, I'm not kidding. Years ago I dated a girl that looked exactly like you. Only she was a little shorter and different facial features, but other than that, exactly like her.

VAN SUSTEREN: And I play a taller person on TV, as well. All right Larry.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: You're never here though. When I'm here, you are always gone. It's unbelievable. I mean, if I was Craig T. Nelson, I bet you'd be here.

VAN SUSTEREN: Next time. I promise next time. All right. The new movie, I've seen clips of it, is drop-dead funny. Especially to those of us stuck in the seventh grade, which I confess, I remain stuck in the seventh grade. Tell the viewers — it opens Friday. Tell the viewers what a treat they're in for. What's the story line?

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: Well, I tell you what — it opens Friday. I'm excited about it, you know we were originally going to name this movie “Spider-Man 4.”

VAN SUSTEREN: That would have been a good name. That would have helped.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: It would have, but you know, lawyers, you couldn't do that. But, this movie is about — I'm down on my luck. I just found out my girlfriend broke up with me so my buddies are going to take me out for a day of shootin'. We go to the armory where we are like state militia, so we are in the armory. All of a sudden the sergeant comes in and says, “Come on, we are going to Iraq.” He thinks we're actual soldiers. So, we're on our way to Iraq. We're screw-ups, we are sitting in the Humvee, we fall asleep. We are in the C-130, we are in bad weather. They dump equipment C-130, our Humvee parachutes to the desert. We land in the desert. We think we're in Iraq but we are in Mexico. And it was taped on location in Los Angeles.

VAN SUSTEREN: And you know what's sort of interesting Larry, is that it is extremely respectful of the men and women who are serving in uniform in Iraq. I think our men and women in uniform are going to love this movie.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: Greta, I'll tell you they already do love it. And you know, I actually got the idea — You know, we've been to Walter Reed a few times. We do a lot with the troops — I get tons of e-mails on Get-R-Done on tanks and Humvees and all that. And you know, I thought, man, maybe we should do a movie that these guys can relate to, but they'll laugh at.

And so we put out “Delta Farce.” You know, it's not about the war. It's just a funny movie. These guys are headed to Iraq, they don't actually get there, but we had the premiere — the USO set it up and took us to Andrews Air Force Base and we had all the guys from Walter Reed come down with their families and I knew they were going to like it. But when we showed it, it got even a better reaction than I thought it would. I mean, the troops really liked it and I am glad they did, because, you know, it was for them and it was to make them laugh a little bit and something they could relate to, as well. So, we were real happy with that.

VAN SUSTEREN: And some other great stars besides you including my friend, Marisol Nichols who stars in FOX's “24.” She's currently acting director of CTU.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: Yeah, that's right, I was happy to get Marisol in. There she is. Yeah, there's Marisol. You know, I had a kissing scene with Marisol in that.

VAN SUSTEREN: She told me. She told me.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: And she doesn't know it, but...

VAN SUSTEREN: She said you're a good kisser, by the way.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: Well, she doesn't know I had the director do eight takes on that.

(LAUGHTER)

VAN SUSTEREN: I can imagine that. All right, I got a treat for you. I want to show you a clip of a young man named Mitchell Hults from Missouri. Now I want you to watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

And I understand that you're also a little bit of a Larry the Cable Guy fan?

MITCHELL HULTS, LARRY THE CABLE GUY FAN: Oh, yeah.

VAN SUSTEREN: You can imitate him?

HULTS: What do you mean by that?

VAN SUSTEREN: I heard that you can imitate him — that you can do an impersonation?

HULTS: Git-r-done!

VAN SUSTEREN: That's fabulous.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

VAN SUSTEREN: So, how'd he do?

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: Oh, I tell you what, you get that Mitchell talking, he don't shut up. I'll tell you what. You know, I met Mitchell, we got him tickets to the show and he come back stage.

VAN SUSTEREN: He was so excited about that, Larry — Larry, he said you were so gracious. He was so excited about that.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: Well, you know, what? I think it's great. You know, you watch TV and all they show you is bad kids and kids doing this. There's a lot of good kids out there, Greta. And he’s one of them. And I was happy to be able to have him come out to the show and he was a stand-up guy. God bless him. I mean, it's good to see there's kids out there that are still good kids, you know. So, ol' Mitchell is great. I love Mitchell.

VAN SUSTEREN: And it's good to see that there are great movies still out there. “Delta Farce,” it's very funny. I think people will love it, Larry. And as always, congratulations. And I hope you continued success. And I hope everyone goes out to see it, Larry.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: Hey Greta, thank you very much. I do too. They'll really like it when they go see it. I mean, it is really a funny movie.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right, starts Friday, so everyone should go. Thanks Larry.

LARRY THE CABLE GUY: Hey Greta, git-r-done! I love ya!

VAN SUSTEREN: Thank you, Larry.
