Well last week, you remember when I told you that the voter uprising in America is not altogether reflection of the Democrats and it’s certainly not the pouring on the love for Republicans--- it's that people who work hard in this country and aren't getting ahead but slipping behind are a little bit steamed that their government takes money from their already shrinking paychecks and then spends it as if it all belongs to them--- Now last week I called them the "Kleptocrats" - they take from the taxpayer and give to special interests and projects to buy up political points and votes.

And before the Kleptocrats kill our country and give us a Kleptocracy, the Tea Party and other independent voters are saying "that is enough."

One of the more ridiculous rants about the Tea Party movement is that it's about people who are rich resenting having to pay taxes or maybe about the poor who are angry about rich people having more stuff. Nonsense, I didn't grow up with much, but never resented that some people had new cars, air conditioned homes, or took vacations -- that gave me something to shoot for and something to dream for. Now that I've lived much of the American Dream, I don't resent paying taxes, but I do resent paying taxes that penalize me for being responsible and then having Congress use that money foolishly. Arthur Godfrey used to say it best, "I'm proud to be a tax paying American, but I could be just as proud for half the money." I agree Arthur.

What steams us is when the Kleptocrats of Congress take what we've worked hard to earn and then squander it on stupid spending sprees. I want to show you just a few things our tax dollars paid for:

$107,000 to study the sex life of the Japanese quail.
$1.2 million to study the breeding habits of the woodchuck.
$150,000 to study the feud between the Hatfield’s and the McCoy’s.
$19 million to examine gas emissions from cow flatulence.
$219,000 to teach college students how to watch television.
$1 million to preserve a sewer in Trenton, NJ, as a historic monument.

Now that my friends is Kleptocracy in action….but the good news is that the spending disease of the Kleptocrats is curable. If your member of Congress has voted for porkulus spending bills, bailouts, the budget busting Obamacare, and earmarks like the ones I've described, then vote for someone else. Send that member of Congress home. He'll still retire with a very nice pension that you'll have to fund, but it's the only cure to Kleptocracy in Congress.
