Dozens of elementary students in a New York City elementary school were sent to the hospital Tuesday after drinking contaminated water, MyFoxNY.com reported.

The MTA helped EMTs transport the 74 students from P.S. 20 in Flushing, New York to local hospitals. Emergency medical technicians rode with the children, who complained of stomach aches and vomiting. All of the students have been released, school officials said.

A Department of Education spokeswoman said the contamination may have been a type of anti-freeze leaked from the air conditioning system, which was being worked on.

The school, which enrolls about 1,300 children from pre-kindergarten to the fifth grade, provided water bottles to students after shutting off the water supply, and had reopened.
