Pennsylvania authorities have indefinitely suspended the medical license of a Delaware pediatrician accused of raping and sexually assaulting more than 100 of his patients.

The Pennsylvania Board of Medicine issued an order Tuesday suspending Earl Bradley's medical license in the commonwealth, which has been inactive since 2002, because of the charges against him in Delaware.

The board noted that Pennsylvania law allows it to take action against a doctor who has been subject to disciplinary action in another state. It said its suspension is consistent with the suspension, and subsequent revocation, of Bradley's Delaware license.

Bradley, who is being held in lieu of $2.9 million bail, is charged with sexually abusing 103 patients from 1998 through last year.
