I'm going to let you in on a little secret: This gentleman is not really Dr. Robert Payne candidate for the 33rd district congressional seat in Texas.

His real name is Durwood Fincher, and if he looks a little familiar, it's because he's known best as "Mr. Double Talk" and has appeared on "Candid Camera" with Allen Funt, the "Today Show", and speaks to and entertains audiences from corporate gatherings to trade shows.

He's hilarious; confusing audiences with his mastery of speaking without saying anything whatsoever. And you know what? He has proven that he is qualified to be a member of Congress, because we've been given a lot of double talk from many members of Congress who love to talk, but don't necessarily make any sense.

You can't borrow money you can't pay back; you can't spend what you don't have; you can't govern without the consent of the governed, and if Congress would maybe listen more than talk, they would know the governed aren't consenting to the proposals being thrust upon them.

Double talk is great in comedy, but it's not good in Congress.

The sad thing is that Durwood's double talk actually makes about as much sense as the debate over the health care bill.
