A company that tested concrete for such New York City landmarks as the new Yankee Stadium has been convicted on corruption charges for faking results.

A jury found Testwell Laboratories Inc., its president and a vice president guilty Wednesday of enterprise corruption.

Testwell was accused of doctoring concrete and steel test results for more than 100 projects.

City officials say the stadium and more than 20 other projects have been retested and pronounced safe.

Testwell said the allegations reflected contract disputes, honest errors and common industry practices — not crimes.

The company and President V. Reddy Kancharla were convicted earlier of lesser charges.
