LAS VEGAS – Police say a young boy is dead, two women are hospitalized and a man has been arrested after an ax attack during a domestic dispute at a Las Vegas home.
Police Lt. Lewis Roberts said Thursday the two women were in critical condition after the attack a little before noon in a neighborhood southeast of downtown Las Vegas.
The ages and names of the victims and the man who was arrested were not immediately made public. Police say everyone involved is part of one family.
Police say the man was treated for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
Police say other people inside the house near Maryland Parkway and Sahara Avenue weren't injured.
