UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – Prince George's County police are investigating the killing of a Washington woman whose body was found in an Oxon Hill hotel.
Police say they discovered 30-year-old Laurie Ann Marie Waggoner of northeast D.C. Sunday afternoon at a Comfort Inn Hotel on Oxon Hill Road. Officers responded to a call of an unresponsive woman and found Waggoner with trauma to her body.
The chief medical examiner's office in Baltimore plans to perform an autopsy.
Authorities are working to identify suspects and a motive.
