Two men are dead and two wounded after a Christmas knife attack in Bakersfield that grew out of an apparent family argument over an ice cream distribution business.

One of the wounded men was being questioned by police in the murders.

Kern County coroner's officials said Saturday that Moti Lal died about noon Friday in the parking lot of the GMB Ice Cream Warehouse, and 54-year-old Balwinder Singh died later at Kern Medical Center.

The two wounded men were treated for less serious knife wounds. Police were not releasing the names of the injured men Saturday.

Police say the men have both family and business ties to the company, which distributes ice cream products in Bakersfield using small ice cream trucks.
