Authorities say the bodies of a woman and her husband have been found in a Dawson County river, and the woman's stepfather was arrested.

Dawson County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Tony Wooten says the body of 21-year-old Jennifer West Budrawich of Effingham County was found on Sunday, a day after officers received a frantic 911 call from her. Her husband's body was found on Monday.

Authorities say they've arrested 40-year-old Jesse James Kilgore and planned to charge him in the woman's death, and that 27-year-old Benjamin Kelly Mullinax is charged with tampering with evidence.

Dawson County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Tony Wooten says the woman was in Dawson County to visit her children, and that Kilgore, her stepfather, was the father of one of the children.
