Police investigating the disappearance of a teenage girl in the U.K. have arrested a man and are searching four premises, Sky News reported.
Paige Chivers is feared dead after vanishing from her home two years ago when she was 15.
Officers have been stripping shelves and taking away furnishings from a corner shop in Blackpool following the arrest of the 51-year-old man.
Police, who have also seized two vehicles, say Paige may have known the man who has been taken in for questioning.
The youngster disappeared from home in Bispham, Lancashire in 2007.
Her family is described as having been shocked to hear news of the arrest and according to the police "are wondering whether this could be the beginning of the end."
