Rescue workers scrambled to save a contractor who plunged more than 10 feet off the scaffolding of a historic Boston building.
The man fell Thursday morning as he worked outside Faneuil Hall, according to the Boston Herald.
The paper said the worker, reportedly a contractor for the site, landed on a small overhang that may have prevented him from further injury.
It was not immediately clear what caused the collapse.
Tim Holland, deputy superintendent of Boston EMS, said the worker was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Faneuil Hall is in the center of a popular Boston marketplace and has been a meeting hall since 1742.
