Sandra Bullock played the sexually pent-up, over-informed nerd Mary in the comedy "All About Steve," and the experience of being ridiculed onscreen made her remember her own childhood difficulties.

"Why is that young boys and men are unique and eccentric and mavericks when they're different but women are ‘odd’ when we are eccentric or different? Would I have wished someone would have said to me when I was 12 or eight when I had my speech impediment? Uniqueness is something my mother pounded it into me," Bullock recently told Tarts. "She said be unique and I didn’t understand it then, now I look at it and I go I wouldn’t want to be like anyone else and I know I’m off. I had a lisp as a child, it’s all these things that made me different and I tried to squelch and then once I realized I had squelched them I didn’t feel like myself anymore."

Bullock is so upset with the unwritten rules and regulations in today’s world she wants to spread a strong message to young girls.

"Don’t change, be who you are. Society is really strong in their opinions so I made peace with the fact that the things I thought were weaknesses or flaws were just me," she added. "Why are we forcing people to follow another person’s path in life taking away their real happiness? What is about us that is a culture that tries to get rid of what we consider the runt? Sometimes the runt turns out to be the best of the litter."

Meanwhile Bullock’s co-star, man-of-the-moment Bradley Cooper, played coy when it came to questions about his personal life and romantic affiliations with the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Renee Zellweger.

"My imaginary personal life," Cooper said. "There is a lot other worse things that could be happening than (the press) talking about stuff like that."

Bullock, on the other hand, was quick to reveal what it is that has Hollywood hotties falling at their feet for Mr. Cooper.

"Innocent yet not. There is a real innocence to Bradley and a kindness. He is a girls' guy and a guy's guy," she said. "He will come hang out with all of us girls. Then you forget he is there as a guy. Not in a bad way, in a very good way. He is very attractive to the ladies it's a nice balance to have. No wonder all the girls are crazy about him."

Mariah Carey Pulls Diva Moves Onstage

Mariah Carey pulled out all the stops in Sin City on Saturday night during her sold-out concert at The Pearl inside The Palms. The songstress showed off her incredibly curvaceous body in several uber-tight sparkly mini-dresses (debunking any pregnancy rumors) and was more than happy to ‘fess up to her divaesque reputation.

"I know this is diva 101 but whatever," Carey laughed as she called her makeup team on stage for touch-ups, after lamenting over the poor manicure she had done the day before. "I hope she isn’t here tonight."

And despite their quickie wedding to Nick Cannon last year, it seems the duo is just going from strength to strength. At one point Carey pulled her hubby from the front row onto the stage to sing him a Happy 29th Birthday.

"I think I know this guy, he’s pretty cute," she gushed.

Exclusive: Gretchen Rossi Bites Back at Former Friend

Gretchen Rossi recently told Tarts about her decision not to go under the knife in order to be a responsible role model and instead create The Gretchen Project to spotlight alternatives to plastic surgery, prompting her former friend Jay Photoglou to pretty much label her as a liar.

"I went with Gretchen to get Botox injections on at least on two occasions, one time I even had Botox injections," Jay told RadarOnline.com on Friday.

"Gretchen went at least every six weeks to get Botox injection while I dated her. She also had photo facials done every two months to help get rid of her wrinkles."

However it’s Rossi who is having the last laugh at her former flame, who she filed a restraining order against in March of this year although it was later dismissed by a judge.

"Everything this person states is false information, and just goes to show why I started the Gretchen Project. Botox and photo facials are alternative routes to going under the knife," Rossi responded exclusively to Tarts. "Plastic surgery involves cutting, not fillers and laser treatments. He is a FAME WHORE!"

Michael Vick Inks Deal For New Documentary

If it wasn’t enough that Michael Vick was reinstated to the NFL and signed to the Philadelphia Eagles after spending 18 months behind bars for his involvement in an illegal dog fighting ring, the controversial sports star has just now scored himself an eight-part series with DuBose Entertainment to air on BET in 2010.

The docu-series, tentatively titled "The Michael Vick Project" with follow Vick on "the road to redemption" as he attempts to get his life back on track both personally and professionally.

"It’s our hope that this documentary series will serve as means towards Michael Vick's search for his own personal truth and how the choices he made ultimately changed his life," said James DuBose, CEO, DuBose Entertainment.

"Mike's life may be unique, but his story is one that could be told ten times over by young men who find themselves faced with trials and tribulations. His truth has come by way of bad choices. His triumph will come by way of his commitment to change."
