A western New York woman has had quintuplets -- adding to a family that already has twins.

A spokesman said the three girls, two boys and mother Bridget Maskell all were doing well Sunday at Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Hospital spokesman John Moscato says the babies were delivered by cesarian section Thursday at 25 weeks.

Maskell and husband John Mistalski live in Lockport, about 25 miles northeast of Buffalo. She has twins.

The National Center for Health Statistics tallied just 67 quintuplet and higher-order births nationwide in 2006. That's the most recent data available.

Moscato says the newborns may be the first set of quintuplets ever delivered at the more than 100-year-old hospital.
