A 50-year-old special needs music teacher was stabbed to death at a Texas high school Wednesday. A juvenile was in custody.

The victim was identified by his brother as Todd R. Henry, a music therapist at John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas — about 95 miles southeast of Dallas.

Tyler police spokesman Don Martin said the stabbing occurred about 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Martin said the juvenile was detained shortly after the attack, but didn't release further details.

Jody Henry described his brother as an "accomplished and respected guitarist."
