WASHINGTON COUNTY, Md. – An 18-year-old hiker fell off a cliff Thursday in Maryland, and crews hoisted her to safety in a dramatic rescue.
The hiker tumbled about 30 feet off a cliff in Washington County.
Authorities believe it was an accidental fall and she is a recreational climber.
Washington County firefighters and EMS technicians rescued her by pulling her to the top of the cliff in a stretcher.
